Having had the Birds B2 package in place on my 240i for a few weeks now, every time I drive the car I am left smiling and with the distinct impression that this is a sophisticated suspension set-up that performs considerably above its price-point.

The absence of the standard suspension’s rebound manages the almost impossible trick of a better ride and improved comfort with superior control and more feedback. The car constantly feels as if it has been ‘finessed’ by someone who really knows about suspension and handling – unsurprising really, as this is exactly what Birds claim to do!

In summary, the Birds modifications have more than met my expectations and they are very definitely worth the money.
