Hi Kevin.

 

Arrived safely back home about half an hour ago.

 

I hope I haven't cost you more money by virtue of a further lost bet with your engineers,as a result of my not having phoned you during my homeward journey!

 

Who would have thought that a change of wheels and tyres could have such an impact on the way my car feels? You really are clever guys down there! It would seem to me that your brilliant suspension upgrade for the 335i is designed to work best with the wheel and tyre combination that you are most familiar with,because your suspension,now in tandem with the Hartge/Continental combination is like another night to day transformation.

 

The steering feels lighter yet much more precise,with even more feel for what is going on at the tyre/road surface interface,tyre noise seems massively reduced,compared with the Michelins,and overall,the car feels more agile and nimble.

 

I don't think that all of that is my imagination,the car definitely feels even better now,and looks magnificent!

As I said to you before I left,I think that the next upgrade/improvement which I shall ask you to carry out,will be to swap the standard BMW exhaust to the wonderful looking (and no doubt sounding and performing) quad pipe system that you have on your own car. I'll be in touch later in the year,when funds permit.
