Testimonial - F31 340i - B3 Suspension & Quaife LSD - Mr Goossens

The journey back to Manchester was nice, although it was mainly motorways. The biggest difference that came through was the damping is now exceptional, it's like a cat or an olympic gymnast nailing a landing. It's much more composed without being overly firm.

 

In the past, I modded a Nissan Micra K11 a bit just for fun, and part of that was replacing the springs with Matt Humphris rally tarmac progressive lowered springs (just on the OE dampers) and it was a hell of a lot more planted and much more fun and predictable to drive. I get that same immediate enjoyment and notice of the difference with the custom Bilstein kit installed on my F31.

 

I haven't had the chance to challenge or test out the LSD yet, but even just travelling home for 4 hours I could feel there was no longer the hesitance/slip when pulling out of junctions, so I already have that confidence and peace of mind that it will always do what I want.
